14/6/20 Chairman’s Opening Address: The Chairman welcomed everyone to the meeting .and confirmed that to his knowledge there was still no incidences of Covid-19 within the village.
15/6/20 Apologies: Apologies were received and noted from Cllr J Yeomans and Cllrs A & P Sanderson.
16/6/20 Declarations of interest – No declarations were received.
17/6/20 To approve the draft notes of the meeting 13th May 2020
It was resolved by all Councillors at the meeting that the notes of the above meeting were approved and signed as minutes.
18/6/20 Feedback on Action points.
The Community noticeboard has been renovated and repositioned. An invoice for £100 had been received from Mr Gardner for the renovations which was within the set budget of £300. The council resolved to pay the invoice.
The Chairman has asked that the Newsletter Committee attempt to get some sort of newsletter out as soon as possible.
19/6/20 Planning Applications None received
20/6/20 Financial Matters & Clerk’s Report
Annual Governance and Audit Report - The exemption report has been emailed to PKF Littlejohn – the External Auditor and an acknowledgement has been received.
The Clerk has arranged for the internal part of the audit to take place later this week. She has also been working on updating the Financial Regulations.
With reference to the correspondence from this month e-mails regarding ‘Website Accessibility’ and ‘Covid-19 Risk Assessments’ had been circulated for information and possible attention in the future.
21/6/20 To consider a contribution towards the cost of the village floral display
The Chairman proposed that the Parish Council made a contribution towards the cost of the flowers in the tubs at the start and end of the village. Cllr Dring advised that the flowers were usually donated by Matthew Dring and Mrs Colclough just asked for new compost as and when it was needed which the council provided for her. She did suggest that new compost may be required for the October replant and a volunteer to help empty and refill the tub may be appreciated.
Cllr Pout proposed setting a budget of £50 to cover any incidental costs. The council resolved to approve the figure set.
22/6/20 To consider the requirement and purchase of a "Clean up after yourself" sign and dog bin for the end of Vacherie Lane.
Following a discussion, the council agreed that Cllr Pout and Cllr Yeomans would look into signage to point out where the dog waste bins are located within the village. Item to be put back on the agenda with a view to purchase of said signage.
23/6/20 Updates from Councillors –
The District Councillors are continuing to work from home and have meetings via Zoom.

The next Parish Council Meeting will be 8th July at 7.30pm.
