71/09/23- Chairman’s Opening Address: The Chairman welcomed everyone to the meeting. 

72/09/23- Apologies for absence and acceptance of any reasons given – Cllr A Smith is on Annual Leave

73/09/23- Notes of the last meeting held on 12th July 23 to be approved as the minutes - It was resolved by all Councillors at the meeting that the notes of the above meeting were approved and signed as minutes.

74/009/23  – Report on matters outstanding – The Chairman reported that the work was conducted at Skirth Bank to a very high standard and asked the clerk to send a letter of congratulations at a job well done. 

The sharp turn signs have still not been put up.  

Can it be established if the drain outside the Indian Take Away has been cleared and if not, can this be chased up.

Newsletter this needs to be updated with the additional dates and information and published for the autumn. The parish has some dates coming up for example the Christmas tree Ceremony should be included.

75/09/23 – Notes of the last meeting held on 12th July - it was resolved that the minutes were a true and accurate -proposed by Cllr Pout and Seconded by Cllr Melbourne

76/09/23 - Declarations of interest – No declarations were received

77/09/23 - Financial Matters & Clerk’s Report

a) Budget Report – Funds are still needed for the SID Cllr Pout stated that in the spring we need to apply to the district council for help with this.
 
b) Payments - The Council resolved to pay the following:

a) It was agreed that we would purchase three lamp post Poppies we would make a £30 donation for a poppy wreath.

78/09/23 - Planning Applications –  23/0795/OUT - 2 dwellings (including the demolition of the existing building
Land To The East Of 5 Vacherie Lane North Kyme Lincoln LN4 4DL

23/0694/HOUS - Proposal: Erection of two storey side extension
Location: 74 Main Street North Kyme Lincoln Planning Permission approved.

23/0876/FUL – Proposal: Erection of a temporary polytunnel.
Location: Land Around Whitegates, Tattershall Road, Billinghay, LN4 4BP.

No objections were made with regards to any of the planning applications.

79/09/2023 - Items from the Public Forum and updates from Councillors – 
 

Cllr Smith in absence asked for the over flowing bins and general rubbish left at the picnic site at the top of the Cause Way to be addressed.  Clerk is to write a letter to Jenny the head of Refuse asking that the bins be removed.

Cllr Taylor has obtained history of the church and was going to obtain more information regarding this.

The area around the bus shelter and the village green needs to be mowed and Cllr Pout volunteered to do it.

Cllr Pout stated at next meeting a budget will need to be set for Christmas

Date & Time of next meeting - The next Parish Council Meeting will be 11th October at 7.30pm.
